Are you a CN pensioner or surviving spouse and still not a member of the CNPA?  Have you wondered why you should consider becoming a member all for only $1 a month?  Hopefully our Programs & Benefits Page will have assisted you in making the decision to join us.

The annual membership fee is $12.00 and the period is calendar year (January - December). Membership fee can be paid via payroll deduction (recommended method of payment). We arrange to have $1.00 per month deducted from your monthly pension cheque. This method is administratively beneficial to the association as it helps keep our administrative costs down. It saves the cost of postage to and from members each year, banking fees, transportation costs, etc. It is also beneficial to the pensioner as it continues without interruption until otherwise advised by the pensioner.  You never have to wonder if your dues have been paid ever again.

NOTE: As part of the Partnership agreement between CN and CNPA, effective January 1, 2020, CN will pay for the first twenty-four months of CNPA membership for all new retirees who enroll in the CNPA upon their retirement. Starting in the twenty-fifth month, your membership contribution will automatically be deducted from your monthly pension payment.
