As the CNPA is not the administrator of CN pensions, we cannot submit or submit on your behalf the formal notification of death to CN Pensions & Benefits Administration. You must do this directly with CN Pensions & Benefits Administration. They provide the CNPA with a monthly update of recently deceased pensioners/survivors for our records.
Upon the death of a pensioner or a survivor spouse, there are many steps that need to be completed. The CNPA has put together guidance to assist those needing to complete those steps, including the information needed when contacting CN Pensions and Benefits Administration. It can be found here
As the CNPA is not the administrator of CN pensions, we cannot process or request on your behalf address, phone number or banking changes. You must do this directly with CN Pensions & Benefits Administration.
